Privacy policy
Who is responsible for your data
53.517.738 WESLEY HENRIQUES DA SILVA, Brazilian company registry (CNPJ) 53.517.738/0001-97, Rua São Leopoldo, 301 – São Francisco de Assis, Camboriú, SC, 88340-760, Brasil. Responsible person: Wesley Henriques da Silva. Contact and data protection officer: suporte@redkeys.com.br.
What this policy covers
The site redkeys.com.br and the help pages (docs.redkeys.com.br), the customer area (conta.redkeys.com.br), the REDKEYS app and plugin, the newsletter and support. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018) and, for people in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation.
What data we process
- When you buy: the name, e-mail and order details the payment platform sends us. Card details stay with it and never reach us.
- For the licence and the account: the purchase e-mail, the serial, and an identification of each activated device, to keep the licence on up to 2 devices and let you release one. Also the date and IP address of access to our servers, for security.
- For the newsletter: the name and e-mail you type, the proof of your consent (the text you accepted, the date, the time and the IP address), the confirmation click, the page you came from (campaign parameters) and, in the e-mails, whether you opened them and which links you clicked.
- In support: what you write to us and what we need to solve it.
- On the site: your chosen language, your cookie choice and, only with your permission, browsing data for analytics and advertising (see Cookies).
The app does not send what you play, your setlists, your sounds or your files: all of that stays on your device.
Why we process each one
- To deliver the app, the licence, the library, the updates and the support of what you bought — performance of the contract.
- To prevent fraud and misuse of the licence, and keep our systems secure — legitimate interest.
- To send the newsletter — consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
- Site analytics and advertising — consent, given in the cookie notice.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that make REDKEYS work, each for its own part: the payment platforms (Cakto, Gumroad and, for purchases made in an app store, the store itself); Amazon Web Services (sending the e-mails and delivering the downloads); Cloudflare (the site's address and backups); our server provider; and, only if you allow it in the cookie notice, Google (analytics and ads) and Meta (ads on Facebook and Instagram). We do not sell personal data. We may provide data when the law or an authority requires it.
International transfer
Some of these services store data outside Brazil, such as in the United States. We choose services that adopt adequate safeguards, as the Brazilian law provides (art. 33).
How long we keep it
Purchase and licence data, while the licence exists and for as long as tax law requires; newsletter data, while you are subscribed; server access records, for the period set by the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (6 months); support, while it is useful to help you.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask for confirmation of the processing, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about whom we share with, and withdraw your consent (Brazilian law, art. 18). People in the European Union also have their GDPR rights, including to object and to complain to their local authority. Write to suporte@redkeys.com.br from your account e-mail; we answer within 15 days. You may also complain to the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).
Children and teenagers
REDKEYS is made for musicians and is not directed at children. Purchases must be made by an adult, or with the authorisation of a legal guardian.
How we protect it
Encrypted connections, access limited to who needs it, passwords and keys kept out of the code, and backups. No system is infallible; if an incident puts you at risk, we will tell you and the ANPD, as the law requires.
When this policy changes
The date at the top follows the version in force. Changes that affect your rights will be announced on the site and, if you have an account or are on the newsletter, by e-mail.
