Who provides REDKEYS

Acceptance

By buying, activating or using REDKEYS you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

What REDKEYS is

An app for keyboard players that runs on its own (standalone) and as a plugin inside other software, with the Factory sound library. The systems it runs on and the requirements of each are on the site, and only those shown as available apply.

Your licence

• The app licence is lifetime and personal: it belongs to whoever bought it, to use on up to 2 devices at the same time. You release a device in your account to activate another.
• It includes the app, the Factory library and every version 1 update.
• Libraries, packs or plans offered separately have the conditions stated when each is bought.
• You do not buy the software but the right to use it: REDKEYS, its code, its sounds and its marks remain their creators'.

Using the sounds

You may use the REDKEYS sounds freely, at no extra cost, in your live performances and in your recordings and music productions, including commercial ones. What is not allowed: redistributing, reselling, sharing or making available the sounds or samples themselves, alone or as part of another library, virtual instrument or sound product.

Resampling is not allowed

Resampling REDKEYS is prohibited: recording, capturing, exporting or rendering notes, chords, sounds, layers or passages played by the REDKEYS app, plugin, instruments, engines or effects in order to create from them samples, multisamples, virtual instruments, sound banks, presets, loops, kits or libraries — for your own use or anyone else's, free or paid.

It is also prohibited to capture impulse responses, profiles or models of the REDKEYS effects and instruments, and to use any REDKEYS sound to train, feed or tune artificial intelligence or audio synthesis systems.

Recording your music is still allowed, as the section above says: a performance, an arrangement or a production in which REDKEYS plays along, as long as the result is the musical work and not the REDKEYS sounds isolated for reuse.

What is not allowed

• Sharing, selling, renting or lending the serial or access to the account.
• Copying, modifying, decompiling or reverse engineering the app, the plugin or their files.
• Resampling the REDKEYS sounds, instruments, effects or plugins, as described above.
• Circumventing, disabling or interfering with any protection of the licence or the sounds.
• Using REDKEYS to infringe the rights of others.

The trademark and the rights

REDKEYS® is a registered trademark of Wesley Henriques da Silva and Alison Mota da Cunha. The REDKEYS name, logo, screens, code and sounds are protected by trademark, copyright and software law, and may not be used, copied or imitated without written permission.

REDKEYS is an independent product: it has no affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or official connection with makers of instruments, equipment, software or apps. When the site, the app or the help pages name a system, a format, a driver, a payment platform or another product, it is only to say what REDKEYS works with. The REDKEYS sounds, instruments and effects are our own creation, made from scratch, and are not copies or samples of third-party products. All other marks belong to their owners.

Activation and account

You activate with your purchase e-mail and serial, and need internet to activate and to download the library. Keep your e-mail and serial safe: what is done with them is your responsibility. We may suspend the licence of anyone who breaks these terms, after notice to the account e-mail.

Price and payment

The price and conditions are on the product page at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by the chosen platform (Cakto or Gumroad, or the app store), under its rules. Withdrawal and refunds follow the refund policy.

Support and updates

Support is through suporte@redkeys.com.br and the help pages at docs.redkeys.com.br. We release updates to fix and improve the app; some may change screens or functions, always keeping what your licence includes.

Warranty and liability

REDKEYS is carefully tested, but no software is free of faults: keep backups of your files. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights granted by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code or by the law of your country.

Law and jurisdiction

Brazilian law applies. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence are competent.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top follows the version in force. Important changes will be announced by e-mail to account holders.
